“I will be forever grateful to the Happy Feat Fundraiser for graciously donating the 2016 proceeds to Learn to Cope. Happy Feat provided the single largest donation Learn to Cope has ever received. With its donation we were able to launch the “Forget me Knot” fund for children who are affected by the Opiate crisis. Many of these children have lost their parents and are being raised by grandparents or foster homes. Our first event was a day for kids at Canobie Lake Park. It was a worry-free day filled with smiles. This February we will be bringing children to Disney on Ice.
If you have not been to Happy Feat for a night of dancing, you must go! It’s a blast! Hope to see you there!”
– Joanne Peterson, Founder and Director Learn to Cope
“A few years ago New Hope was chosen to receive funds from the Happy Feat Fundraiser. Not only are these women fantastic dancers and just plain fun, but they raised over $10,000 for survivors of sexual and domestic violence. That’s what I call amazing! Funds donated helped support women and children in shelter as well as those who needed to access restraining orders and in need of medical advocacy, a good reason to pull out your dancing shoes.”
– Marcia Szymanski, Executive Director & Presdient, New Hope, Inc.
“Happy Feat is aptly named indeed — it is no small feat! Eileen’s ability to bring women together to raise critical awareness and funds during a night of celebration and dancing is amazing! The funds we received helped the young mothers we serve receive shelter, services, and support as they take steps toward a brighter future for themselves and their children.”
– Deirdre Houtmeyers, President and CEO, St. Mary’s Center for Women and Children
“Last year was my first time attending the Happy Feat Fundraiser and I have to admit I was not sure what to expect…but what I found was a room full of amazing and fun spirited women all having a good time together – dancing to the music – playing raffles – having fun and raising money for a good cause! I left there feeling fantastic and I cannot wait to attend the next dance!
The support Ovations for the Cure has received from last year’s Happy Feat Fundraiser has greatly helped in our commitment to supply healthy and easy-to-prepare meals to women and their families fighting ovarian cancer through our Helping Hands Program. We had been working with a continuously growing waiting list for this program. However, with the support we received from Happy Feat, more families have been able to start this program earlier than we had hoped for and our waiting list has become non-existent!
– Susan Patterson, Executive Director Ovations for the Cure of Ovarian Cancer
